30-Kilometer Team Building Hike: Hope Team’s Unity & Challenge on Lantern Festival

Mar 04, 2026

On the just-concluded Lantern Festival, the Hope team held a unique 30-kilometer team building hike around Nanyan Lake Park, replacing traditional festival gatherings. This corporate team building activity aimed to enhance team unity, allowing members to challenge themselves and deeply feel the power of teamwork and collaboration. It’s a perfect example of meaningful outdoor team building for companies looking to strengthen team cohesion.

Many team members said they initially thought 30 kilometers was an unreachable goal for a team building hike. "When I first heard about the 30-kilometer team hike, I doubted I could finish it and even wanted to give up," one member said. "But seeing my colleagues’ enthusiasm, I decided to challenge myself and experience the fun of team collaboration through this outdoor activity."

To ensure the corporate team building hike went smoothly, the team set up three supply stations along the route, one every 10 kilometers. Professional logistics staff stood by at all times, providing water, energy food, first-aid supplies and other support, laying a solid foundation for all participants and ensuring a safe and smooth team outdoor activity experience.

On the morning of the Lantern Festival, Hope team members gathered at the starting point, full of determination for this team building challenge. During the hike, they walked side by side, supporting and encouraging each other—core values of effective team collaboration. When some felt tired, their colleagues helped them; when they arrived at the supply stations, logistics staff offered timely support. No one fell behind or gave up easily, fully demonstrating the power of team unity in corporate team building.

Hope

"When I reached the 20-kilometer mark, my knees ached badly and I wanted to quit several times," another member said. "My colleagues stayed with me, and the logistics staff handed me warm water and energy bars, urging me to take it easy. Their company and care helped me finish the whole journey, which made me deeply understand the importance of team support in outdoor team building activities."

Hope

The team leader said, "We organized this 30-kilometer team building hike to temper the team’s perseverance and enhance unity—key goals of corporate team building. The three supply stations and professional logistics support let members challenge themselves without worries. Many thought 30 kilometers was impossible, but they made it with persistence and teamwork—that’s the spirit of Hope people and the value of team collaboration."

This special Lantern Festival team building activity not only helped members get close to nature and keep fit, but also deepened mutual trust and unity—core benefits of corporate outdoor team building. In the future, Hope team will turn the perseverance and cohesion gained from the hike into work motivation, moving forward together to create more achievements, and continuing to practice the value of team collaboration in every aspect of work.
